- أبرز - most prominent
- بما يجري فيها - "about what's happening in..." يجري means "flowing", but in a sentence like this means "happening" or "on going"
- إشتباك - "clash". You'll see إشتباكات عنيفة "violent clashes" a lot in newspapers.
- قد - in the past tense it means "has" like "has become ready", but in the present tense it means "might" or "could" as in "الإمتحان قد تكوت صعبة" "the test might be difficult".
